For this project, we were contacted by our client while they were planning a house renovation in Oxshott, Surrey. Their existing timber French doors and side windows needing replacing, requiring the removal of brickwork. This was so new Origin slimline OB49 bifolds could be installed in their place. OB49 bifold doors offer some of the slimmest sightlines on the market, opening up rooms to extended views and natural light, creating a seamless flow between indoors and out.

Any challenges?
The main challenge with this type of door upgrade was removing the brickwork to widen the entire doorway. This required taking out sections of bricks below the existing side windows to create the perfect space for the bifolds.
Luckily, with decades of experience, our team was more than qualified for the job. We meticulously planned the work beforehand, including a full risk assessment of the site. This ensured a smooth process on the day, removing the brickwork and installing the bifold doors to a high-spec finish.
The project was completed on schedule, and we cleared up after ourselves, taking away the old French doors and windows to dispose of responsibly.
