The whole experience was great. We had some old bifold doors from another company that were broken and needed completely replacing. The best thing about YPE is that they did everything they could to find a solution to our problem, which was to replace original 1920s leaded windows with a match in aluminium with the teardrop pattern reproduced. I knew I wanted Origin 70 slim frames but was unsure how well the leaded fanlights would be matched. YPE arranged to get leaded panels mocked up, matching the originals, taking great care to get this right. Our original architraves were preserved, scalloped lead flashing was reproduced too. Great care was taken not to damage the pebble dash surrounding windows which wouldn’t have been easy to match if repair was needed. Fitters were pleasant and tidy. Snags were dealt with quickly. There was no pushy salesman, no hard sell or patronising attitudes which are still prevalent in this business. We were nervous about removing beautiful original windows but very pleased with the result.

A company that actually sticks to their lead times! We got a site visit from Andy within 48 hours of requesting one, despite being almost 1hr and a half away. Quoted a two week lead time for a bifold and one window when everyone else was quoting 8-12 weeks, and bang on time, the stock arrived with them and they installed the next day. The fit and finish is brilliant and the lads were very friendly and helpful. Faultless service and have since recommended them to friends!

The quality of the aluminium windows and doors we choose is very high but in a way this is the easy part because it's clearly visible. More difficult is knowing how well they well be installed. Fred and Andy who fitted them are well above your average window fitter - they are craftsmen who took real care and pride in their work. They turned up when they said they would, discussed and agreed finishing options with us and then completed the work with great attention to detail. Perfect!

YPE supplied and installed an Origin sliding door for our rear extension build. Great team and they were a pleasure to work with from sales through to survey and installation. They were always on hand to answer any questions throughout the process, either calling to discuss or responding to emails promptly. Everything went smoothly and they did a quality installation about 4 weeks after the final survey sign off, which was no mean feat given the current supply and demand issues in the industry. The fact that their quote for the Origin door was a little cheaper than some of the competition was the icing on the cake, but on quality and professionalism alone I'd highly recommend them.

Communication was excellent from start to end from Marie , Terry , Andy (The owner) and Andy the lead Installer for my job.The surveys were carried out on schedule in a professional non-sales-pressured manner and the quotations emailed through to me with clear diagrams and good detail.Their quote ended up being in-line with the most competitive from a number of companies that I contacted. YPE also quoted the shortest waiting time for installation, which they achieved!On each day of installation; Andy arrived on time ( in fact very early , politely waiting in his van until I went out to say I was ready ). The guys were friendly and kept things clean and tidy .The quality of the windows installed looks great ! The job also involved carpentry in building a new shelf and support for a bay window, Andy went the extra mile rounding off edges and making sure everything was good. We love Your Price Express. As a quality no nonsense builder its important that people we use deliver the quality end product we demand for our customers. It has taken us years to find an outfit like YPE. The attention to detail and customer service is great and the products are all top quality. We are now on our 6th project together. We have had U-Pvc windows and doors, U-Pvc sash windows, Origin Aluminium windows and Origin folding sliding and sliding door fitted. From one window to whole houses, fantastic. Some subcontractor need the right team around them to be their best, these guys are stand alone superb.

I had a good experience working with Darren at YPE Doors & Windows. He was professional, polite and worked hard to get all my 9 windows, 3 doors, 1 x bifold door and 3 skylights delivered on-time. We were working to quick deadlines on a big refurb project and the service was prompt. Measurements were taken quickly, quotes given promptly and delivery times were accurate. Keep in mind our work was finished by Jan 2020 before COVID came. The price of the windows themselves were competitive with other quotes I had. We got grey windows all throughout. The quality of the front doors by Solidors is top class premium stuff. Yes these are more expensive than other doors on the market but I highly highly recommend them especially for your own home. Also the slim line Origin Bifold doors look amazing and really smooth to operate. This was also competitively priced compared to other options we were looking at. During the installations there were some issues with installation and Darren made sure someone came out quickly to resolve these. So far the aftercare has been good and I hope this continues! Overall the quality of the installation has been good. Everything looks nice and I have no complaints. I will recommend YPE Doors & Windows to family and friends for future works.Syed
